The Knit Lab is where your next sweater gets made — the right way, from the start. Every detail is mapped before you cast on a single stitch: your measurements, your gauge, every adjustment your pattern needs. Then we knit — together, with expert guidance at every session — until you're wearing something you love. You'll finish with a sweater that fits the way you imagined it when you picked the yarn.

We'll help you choose the perfect yarn. Your 20% member discount applies. |

Swatch & measure |
We determine your gauge, take your measurements, and map out all adjustments before you cast on a single stitch. |

Mark your alterations |
Your personal pattern notes are created — a roadmap built for your body. |

5 |
Knit with support |
Attend monthly sessions for guided progress, technique segments, and troubleshooting. |

6 |
Finish to perfection |
Blocking, seaming, and all finishing details covered until your sweater is truly complete. |
Knit Lab instruction and support takes place during your monthly sessions. Additional one-on-one help and classes are available at regular shop rates.
MONTHLY TECHNIQUE SEGMENTS
Each month includes a focused skill segment tied to the techniques your chosen sweater actually requires. Whether it's short rows, cables, colorwork, steeking, or seamless construction — you'll learn it when you need it, in the context of your own project.

THE FINISH LINE: WEAR IT & SHARE IT
At the end of each sweater cycle, we celebrate. Members are photographed wearing their finished sweater — a moment worth marking. Your portrait and project details are added to our in-store digital photo album, displayed continuously in the shop for every customer to see.

THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS
Knit Lab is designed for knitters who already have the basics down and want guided time to work on projects, solve problems, and build skills. We will not be covering foundational techniques like casting on, knit/purl stitches, or basic pattern reading.
Required Skills
You should be comfortable with:
- Casting on and binding off
- Knit and purl stitches
- Working in the round or flat (depending on your project)
- Reading a basic knitting pattern
- Fixing simple mistakes (or at least recognizing them)
