At Knit Tuck & Purl, the kindness of our community reaches well beyond the chairs around our table. It travels in the hats, blankets, scarves, and shawls you make with care—and generously donate to someone you may never meet.

We’re proud to partner with the Greater Boston Knitting Guild as a collection location for handmade donations. The Guild coordinates distribution, helping your knitting and crochet bring warmth and comfort to people throughout Greater Boston. Its outreach includes:

• Room to Grow — Supporting families with young children through essential resources, guidance, and community connections.
• Women’s Lunch Place, Boston — Providing meals, support, and a welcoming community for women experiencing hunger, homelessness, and poverty.
• Brigham and Women’s Hospital — Bringing comfort to patients through handmade prayer and comfort shawls.
• MIRA Coalition — Supporting and advocating for immigrants and refugees and helping build more inclusive communities.

Want to lend your stitches? Stop by the shop to learn about current needs and drop off your handmade contributions. You don’t need to be a Guild member to participate.
