Classes & Workshop Policy

Classes & Workshops

Classes and workshops are an important part of the Knit Tuck & Purl community, and we want everyone to have a great experience.

Registration

Advance registration is required for all paid classes and workshops unless otherwise noted.

Your registration reserves a seat specifically for you, and class sizes are intentionally kept limited.

Please review the class description and recommended skill level before registering. If you're unsure whether a class is right for you, contact us—we're happy to help.

Materials

Unless specifically stated in the class description, class registration does not include yarn, needles, notions, patterns, or other project materials.

When a class or workshop requires a project, participants are expected to purchase the project yarn and materials from Knit Tuck & Purl unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations

Because class sizes are limited and your registration reserves a seat, class and workshop registrations are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions unless a make-up is specifically offered as part of the class.

If Knit Tuck & Purl must cancel a class or workshop, registered participants will be contacted and offered a rescheduled date, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

Ongoing Workshops & Class Passes

Some Knit Tuck & Purl programs are structured as ongoing workshops or use multi-session class passes. The terms for these programs—including the number of sessions, expiration policies, scheduling, and skill requirements—will be included in the individual class description.

Workshop time is intended to provide guidance and support within the format described. A group workshop is not a substitute for a private knitting lesson unless specifically advertised as instruction for beginners.

Knit-Alongs & Social Gatherings

Our knit-alongs and social knitting gatherings are designed to bring our community together.

When participating in a Knit Tuck & Purl-hosted knitting group or Crafternoon, we ask that you bring a project made with yarn purchased from Knit Tuck & Purl.

We appreciate your understanding. These gatherings are offered as part of our shop community and are made possible by the customers who support our small business.

A Welcoming Community

We want Knit Tuck & Purl to be a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable place to knit, learn, and spend time together.

We ask everyone participating in our classes, workshops, and gatherings to be considerate of fellow customers, instructors, and staff.
