Beyond the Basics: Becoming the Boss is designed for advancing beginners and early intermediate knitters who are ready to grow their skills and become more independent knitters.
Choose a project that excites you—a hat, sweater, socks, mittens, or something new—and we’ll help you work through it from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll learn the techniques your project requires while building the skills to read patterns, recognize mistakes, solve problems, and better understand your knitting.
In this relaxed, supportive workshop, you’ll learn to:
- Read and understand knitting patterns
- Improve tension and overall technique
- Work increases, decreases, shaping, and other new skills
- Recognize and fix common mistakes
- Approach unfamiliar techniques with confidence
- Make your own knitting decisions instead of feeling stuck
Every knitter brings a different project, so every class is a little different. Bring your project, your questions, and anything that has you puzzled—we’ll help you work through it.
