This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Powell is knit from the bottom up in pieces and then seamed. Once completed, the shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind-off, and the sleeves and body are seamed.
To make a nice clean edge for finishing, a single stockinette stitch is worked at the selvedge. When working the sleeve increases and armhole shaping on both the body and sleeves, maintain the first and last stitch in stockinette, then work the pattern in between the two edge stitches as established, working partial repeats as the shaping dictates. Additionally, the selvedge worked in Stockinette as described here is not charted. In order to ease working from the Body and Sleeve Charts, we recommend you highlight the beginning and ending lines for your size.
