SPRING 2026
Spring Knit Along
April 4th - May 30th
Knit Tuck & Purl Knit Alongs
Welcome to the Knit Along (KAL) information page at Knit Tuck & Purl!
What is a KAL?
Knit Alongs—AKA KALs—are not lessons or formal classes. Instead, they’re relaxed, community-driven experiences where knitters come together to work on the same project, share progress, and learn from one another along the way. While you may pick up new skills, the focus is on connection, inspiration, and support rather than structured instruction.
At Knit Tuck & Purl, our KALs are inclusive, fun opportunities to build community, grow your confidence, and create a beautiful finished piece.
KAL IN SESSION
April 4 – May 30: Birkin Sweater
Summer: Knit Your Own Project
What to Expect
Our KALs are designed to be simple and welcoming for knitters of all experience levels. Participation is free, and patterns are selected to appeal to both newer and more experienced knitters. We offer optional weekly meet-ups, both in-store and via Zoom, so you can join in wherever you are.
Cost
There is no fee to participate. You’ll just need to purchase your materials and pattern.
Structure (Not Lessons!)
KALs are not formal classes. Instead of step-by-step teaching, you’ll receive emails with helpful tips, encouragement, and insights shared within the group. Support is collaborative rather than instructional.
Pacing
Go at your own pace—there’s no pressure to keep up. Whether you’re working on multiple projects or tackling your first sweater, you’re welcome here.
Skill Levels
Not sure if a KAL is right for you? We’re happy to help you decide and support you along the way.
