Worthy of Note
Inspired by Tyrolean knits filled with lace and bobbles, this cute cardigan is influenced by a vintage Lanz of Salzburg design. Knit in pieces from the bottom up and seamed using mattress stitch, it is destined to become an heirloom piece passed down for years to come.
Specifications
YARN
Kelbourne Woolens Skipper (100% cotton; 137 yards/50 gram skein): 460 powder blue, 3 (5, 6, 9) skeins.
GAUGE
21.5 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Bobble and Lace pattern on larger ndls, after blocking.
NEEDLES
1 – US 2 (2.75 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or pair straights.
1 – US 3 (3.25 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or pair straights.
Check your gauge and adjust needle size accordingly if necessary.
NOTIONS
6 (7, 7, 8) – 0.5” (1.3 cm) buttons, tapestry needle.
SIZE
To fit 0–6m (3–4y, 7–8y, 11–12y).
