Yarn Ball of U.S. Organic Cotton Sport 250 yds/228m

The yarn "cake" is 250 yards of our natural, undyed sport weight yarn.

This is the yardage ball in our blanket kits (we pack four 250 yard balls in those kits) and makes it easy to do another blanket without having to buy the kit again.

Machine wash and dry.

Suggested Needle Size:

• Knitting: U.S. 6/ 4.0 mm 24" circular needles  Note: Some of our patterns recommend a Size 9 needle for keeping the knit stitches loose and then tightened when washed & dryed.
• Crochet: Size G/4.0 mm

While our Natural is dye free, we use a eco-friendly, low impact dye process for our other colors: Silver, Doe, Maple, Sky Blue, Baby Blue, Indigo, Buttercup, Gold, Blush, Baby Pink, Lilac, Sherbert, Greenbrier, Spring Green, and Huckleberry

We get our yarn from Texas family farms that raise cotton organically. The essential attribute of our cotton is that it is grown organically in the U.S. Organic cotton represents only 1% percent of global cotton production, with the balance grown under the use of pesticides, herbicides, miticides and petroleum-based fertilizers.
