Description
Ready to step into the world of sock knitting? Join us for the One Sock Workshop, where you'll knit a cozy pair of socks with a stylish contrasting heel and toe using The Fibre Co.’s popular Amble yarn—a luxurious and eco-conscious blend of Easy-Wash Merino, alpaca, and recycled nylon.
We’ll be working with Kate Atherley’s One Sock pattern, a modern classic designed to fit all feet. Written in 11 sizes (from child to large adult), the pattern includes a detailed Guidebook full of helpful tips and tricks. This is the perfect place to start!
Your registration includes the One Sock Essential Kit with one 100g hank and one 25g mini hank of Amble—enough to make a full pair with contrasting details plus an adorable canvas kit bag.
Whether you’re knitting your first sock or want to build confidence with shaping and fit, this workshop will leave you with a beautiful finished pair and the skills to make many more.

INSTRUCTOR:
Laurie Williamson: Laurie learned to knit at the age of seven, sitting beside her Auntie Joanie in Fort Collins, Colorado. Auntie Joanie owned a yarn shop, and it was there—surrounded by color, texture, and creativity—that Laurie’s lifelong love of knitting began.
Now, decades (and countless projects!) later, Laurie is living her dream as the owner of Knit Tuck & Purl. Sharing the joy of knitting with new makers is one of her greatest passions, and she’s excited to welcome you into the community with this Learn to Knit class.
Whether you're casting on for the first time or picking up needles after a long break, Laurie’s patient guidance and deep love for the craft will make you feel right at home.
